In addition to the Festival Gala Concert at the Ehrbar Hall, Festival winners are also invited to participate in a special concert devoted to "Mozart: Who Prepared His Glory." The concert will feature compositions by Mozart, his teachers, and his rivals. Winners who wish to participate should fill out the Additional Performances Form and send it to the Festival email account (acalliance@mail.com) by February 15, 2012.
The Golden Key Music Festival cordially invites music teachers of Festival participants to perform at the Bösendorfer Saal at Mozarthaus Vienna (Domgasse 5) as part of the Festival's Vienna recital in July. The repertoire can range as widely as you wish within the realm of academic music from the Baroque through the Modern eras. Solo instruments as well as chamber groups are welcome. There is no minimum limit, but performances may not exceed 15 minutes.
To participate in this additional concert, please fill out the Additional Performances Form and send it to the Festival email account (acalliance@mail.com) by February 15, 2012.
There is also an additional opportunity for teachers to perform a solo concert during the Festival at the Haus der Musik. Interested teachers should contact the Festival Director by December 1, 2011 at acalliance@mail.com for further details and conditions.
Specific recital dates will be determined by March 2012.
At the conclusion of the Festival, there will be an informal International Talent Show open to all the Festival guests—students, teachers, parents, and friends. Performances can include songs, music, dance, magic, poetry, or even stand-up comedy. To help us coordinate acts, please send a description of your performance to the Festival email account (acalliance@mail.com) by February 15, 2012 using the Additional Performances Form.
