Since its inception in 2002, the Golden Key Music Festival of the United States has established itself as a major cultural event that attracts young instrumentalists ans vocalists from across the United States and other countries. Its mission is to give young musicians the opportunity to display their talents on some of the most prestigious concert stages in the United States, to open for them the door into the magic world of art—a realm where almost everyone who steps on the stage is gratified with an incomparable feeling of self-affirmation.
For the 2017 festival, applicants in seven age categories will be evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges:

The Golden Key Festival and the Debut Competition
The Golden Key Festival is open to students of different age and levels of artistry. However, we would like to encourage highly motivated students to enter in the Debut International Piano Competition. Starting this year, students who audition for the Debut International Competition will automatically be considered for participation in the Golden Key Music Festival of the United States and the Golden Key Music Festival in Vienna, Austria. We hope this change in policy will encourage talented students to aim for a level of achievement that will truly showcase their abilities without compromising their opportunities to have an enriching performance experience.
