Applications, including Festival downpayment, are due by November 1, 2011.
Complete payment of all Festival Fees is due by February 15, 2012.
Each application requires a recorded or live audition performance of one or more specific music selections intended for performance at the Festival. The music selection(s) should be a part of the standard repertory from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, or Modern Era. Total performance time should not exceed 8 minutes.
We highly recommend that you include a recorded performance by the applicant as part of the application process. Recorded performances have the advantage of being playable more than once and ensure a more complete evaluation than would be possible during a live audition.
Recorded performances can be mailed as a CD or DVD, emailed as an attachment, or sent as a link to Youtube or some other publically accessible internet site. CDs must be playable on a standard audio CD player or a standard Windows computer. DVDs must be playable on a standard US region DVD player (NTSC format). Emailed attachments should be playable on a standard Windows computer. Send email to acalliance@mail.com. Internet submissions must include the entire URL (clickable link).
NOTE: Please enclose a photo-copy of the music score being performed and, in the case of CD/DVD submissions, be sure to write the performer's full name on the disc.
If a recorded performance is not possible, a private, live audition can be arranged with the Festival President at his studio at 81 Five Points Road, Colts Neck, NJ 07722. Please call 732-780-5098 or send email to acalliance@mail.com to make arrangements. Audition time is limited and will be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Results of the evaluation/audition process will be posted via standard mail on November 14, 2011. Names of winners will also be posted on this web site.
The total Festival Fee is $2892 per person. For a child under 16 travelling with two adults, there is a discounted fare available of $2272 for the child. In this case, accommodations include a Norwegian Epic two-bed Balcony State Room with an extra bed for the child for a total fee for the family of $8056. A child occupying a regular bed in a cabin would pay the standard adult fare of $2892. In that case the total fee for the family would be $8676 and accommodations include a three-bed Balcony State Room.

NOTE: Airline tickets are NOT included in the Festival Fee. But if you book your flight with the Festival Tour Manager, you will receive free bus/taxi transportation to and from the Festival Hotel and Barcelona airport.

Half of the total Festival Fee is due as a deposit at the time of application. In the event of a candidate not being selected, or the Festival being cancelled for whatever reason, the full deposit will be returned.
Successful applicants can cancel their participation up to December 1, 2011. After that, Festival deposits are non-refundable.
Complete payment of all Festival Fees is due by February 15, 2012. All payments should be made out to Golden Key Music Festival.
